Stroke-controlled riveting
The product tables in our RIVKLE® catalogues are guidelines for adjusting the setting stroke S that should be used with a particular RIVKLE® blind rivet nut or stud for optimal riveting.
Your advantage: A faster and easier process.
Pressure-controlled riveting
With the stroke-controlled method, the riveting tool generates maximum riveting pressure over the entire operating range. In some cases this results in blind rivet nuts and studs being fastened too tightly or too loosely, due to different component thicknesses.
This phenomenon is prevented with the pressure-controlled method, since the riveting pressure is generated and controlled independently of workpiece thickness.
Your advantages: optimized riveting in workpieces of different thicknesses and repeated setting of a RIVKLE® element is possible. With pressure-controlled riveting, service life of the mandrels increases.
