RIVKLE® NEO B109 and NEOSOFT

RIVKLE® NEO B109 can be connected to a computer for management via the NEOSOFT application. It allows you to control the setting process directly on the tool. With 100% quality control, you'll be able to validate the conformity of each installation.

FAQ

Do you need further support?

Welcome to our FAQ section. Here you can find answers to the most common situations you may face in practice.
  • Please check these scenarios:

    1) The tool is not switched on

    Pull on the trigger or push on the keyboard button to switch on the tool.

    2) The tool is not connected to a battery / The battery level is too low / The battery in use is not compatible with the tool

    Check that the tool is connected to a battery / Check that the battery is fully charged / Check that the battery type is compatible with the tool.

  • These problems can cause:

    1) Traction bush unscrewed, worn and/or damaged

    Check the traction bush, make sure that it's manually screwed in mechanical stop, check for any internal wear on the traction bush.

    2) Incorrect anvil setting

    Check that the anvil has been adjusted with the nose retracted and the mandrel flush with the RIVKLE®.

    3) Drive shaft damaged / Other failure

    Please Contact an authorized Böllhoff repair center.

  • Please check these three scenarios:

    1) The mandrel thread is worn or damaged

    Please change the mandrel. It is important to replace the mandrel frequently.

    2) Anvil poorly adjusted

    Please check and adjust the position of the anvil

    3) The blind rivet nut isn't held in the setting axis during screwing

    Please hold the blind rivet nut in the setting axis during screwing. To assist if required, engage the first thread of the blind rivet nut on the mandrel by hand.

  • Please check these scenarios:

    1) Lack of oil in the tool

    Please refill the oil by using the filling bottle supplied

    2) The setting force is insufficient

    Please check if the setting force is correct. We recommend to check it frequently. You can find the right setting force in our RIVKLE® catalogue on page 8.

    3) Application thickness incompatible with the choosen RIVKLE® blind rivet nut

    Please check that the thickness of your application is compatible with the choosen blind rivet nut.

  • These could be the reasons:

    1) Lack of oil in the tool

    Please refill the oil by using the filling bottle supplied

    2) The blind rivet nut isn’t compatible with the tool’s maximum stroke

    Please check that your RIVKLE® NEO B107 / B109 tool is compatible with the choosen blind rivet nut

  • Please check these points:

    1) Trigger released before the end of the setting

    Keep the trigger depressed until the tool is completely removed from the application.

    2) Lack of oil

    Please refill the oil by using the filling bottle supplied.

    3) Setting force too high

    Please check if the setting force is correct. We recommend to check it frequently. You can find the right setting force in our RIVKLE® catalogue on page 8.

    4) Tool isn't held in place in the setting axis during unscrewing

    Please hold the tool in the setting axis during unscrewing.

    5) The RIVKLE® blind rivet nut is not adapted to the application

    Please check that the blind rivet nut is suitable for the application you are using.

     

  • These problems can cause:

    1) Mandrel thread damaged or worn

    Please change the mandrel. It is important to replace the mandrel frequently

    2) The blind rivet nut isn't in contact with the anvil

    Please adjust the position of the anvil.

    3) Setting force too high

    Please check if the setting force is correct. We recommend to check it frequently. You can find the right setting force in our RIVKLE® catalogue on page 8.

    4) Perpendicularity to the application not respected.

    Throughout the installation of the blind rivet nut, make sure that the tool and the application are perpendicular to each other.

    5) The RIVKLE® blind rivet nut is not adapted to the application

    Please check that the blind rivet nut is suitable for the application you are using.

  • Please check these points:

    1) Setting force too low

    Please check if the setting force is correct. We recommend to check it frequently. You can find the right setting force in our RIVKLE® catalogue on page 8.

    2) The blind rivet nut isn't in contact with the anvil 

    Please adjust the position of the anvil.

    3) The RIVKLE® blind rivet nut is not adapted to the application

    Please check that the blind rivet nut is suitable for the application you are using.

    4) Lack of oil

    Please refill the oil by using the filling bottled supplied.

  • These problems can cause:

    1) The setting force is too high

    Please check if the setting force is correct. We recommend to check it frequently. You can find the right setting force in our RIVKLE® catalogue on page 8.

    2) Blind rivet nut tapping or mandrel thread damaged

    Please change the mandrel. We recommend to replace the mandrel frequently.
