The report provides an overview of business development, successes and challenges of the past year as well as an outlook for the coming months. In an interview, our company management talks about strategic decisions and setting the course for the future. Network

We form partnerships and networks within the industry

Only when people work together can we achieve great things. This is why we network regionally, nationally and internationally – always with the aim of shaping the future of joining technology.

  • Global Fastener Alliance

The Global Fastener Alliance (GFA) was founded in 1998 as a global network of independent suppliers of engineered, high-quality fasteners. The GFA currently comprises eight member companies. Each are market and technology leaders in essential sectors of the joining technology industry. The aim of the alliance is to better support globally active customers in their respective markets.

  • “It’s OWL”

Increasing digitization is not only changing everyday life, but also industrial production and business models. The “it's OWL” top cluster (Intelligent Technical Systems OstWestfalen - Lippe) comprises around 200 companies, research institutions, universities and organizations that have come together to participate in shaping this change. Böllhoff has been with the “it's OWL” cluster since 2014. We consider it a flagship project with benefits that go beyond the boundaries of OWL. “It demonstrates the importance of innovation for the cluster” says Dr. Jens Bunte, member of the Böllhoff management team.

  • Fachverband des Schrauben-Großhandels e.V. (FDS)

The FDS is the platform and lobbying organisation for wholesalers of screws, nuts and other mechanical fasteners. Members are small and large companies, including the leading retail companies in the screw industry.

Böllhoff is also active on the association's technical committee. This is where experts from the fields of quality and product management as well as application technology meet and work on the standardisation of fasteners. The committee gives recommendations for action and publishes the technical manual for practical application within the company.

  • Deutscher Schraubenverband e.V. (DSV)

The Deutscher Schraubenverband e.V. (DSV) represents the interests of German screw, nut and rivet manufacturers. The association's work focuses on basic research, innovative development skills and consistent quality management along the value chain. The association also functions as a comprehensive internal and external contact point for support and advice.
